TOPIC: Quinlivan & Hughes will be the Speaker--Topic: “Unconscious Bias”
Short Description of presentation:
The events over the past several months have caused employers and their employees to re-think how and why they say and do things that adversely impact others in the workplace. Managers, and the people they manage, need to understand that biases – good and bad – impact how we consciously and unconsciously think about others. In this session, Melinda Gau, an employment law attorney from Quinlivan & Hughes, will explain what unconscious bias is and how to prevent unfair or incorrect unconscious bias from guiding our decisions.
Tuesday, November 17th join us for Chamber Lunch Via ZOOM 12:00 - 1 pm.
