On June 15th from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge invites K-12 kids and their families out to the refuge for a FREE youth photography workshop led by knowledgeable volunteers from the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge Photography Club. The workshop will meet at the Oak Savanna Learning Center (16797 289th Ave NW. Zimmerman, MN 55398) and will begin with a brief indoor presentation and will be followed by time in the field to practice.
No experience is necessary but please bring your own camera or camera phone for the field portion, as they are not provided. Some walking is required and participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, field guides, water, a snack, sunscreen, bug spray, and wear clothing and shoes appropriate for the weather and terrain.
