DESCRIPTION:FREE Guided Photography Hikes at Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge\n\nThis spring\, Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge invites you and your family to join us for FREE guided photography hikes. Join us for a morning hike around several areas along the Wildlife Drive to learn some tips and tricks about nature photography. Anyone who is interested in nature photography is welcome to attend. If you choose\, bring a camera or phone\, however no minimum experience or equipment is required. Each hike will be two hours long and will vary in distance traveled.\n\nSaturday\, May 25\, 9:00 am to 11:00 am\, Wildlife Drive (Oak Savanna Trailhead)\n\nThe first Photography Hike will be held on Saturday\, May 25 beginning at 9:00 am. Meet your guide\, members of the Sherburne Photography Club\, at the Oak Savanna Trailhead on the Wildlife Drive located off Sherburne County Road 5\, between County Roads 4 and 9.\n\nSaturday\, June 15\, 8:00am to 10:00am\, Wildlife Drive (Oak Savanna Trailhead)\n\nThe second Photography Hike will be held on Saturday\, June 15 beginning at 8:00 am. Meet your guide\, members of the Sherburne Photography Club\, at the Oak Savanna Trailhead on the Wildlife Drive located off Sherburne County Road 5\, between County Roads 4 and 9. A Youth Photography Workshop will be held following this hike at the Oak Savanna Learning Center at 10:30 am.\n\nFor both hikes\, please wear weather appropriate clothing and close-toed shoes and\, if you choose\, bring binoculars\, camera\, phone\, field guides\, water\, a snack\, sunscreen\, and bug spray. Be advised that poison ivy is common on the refuge. Pre-registration for the tours is encouraged but not required.
