Monticello Chamber’s Royal Ambassador Program gives three young ladies an opportunity to represent Monticello as Community Ambassadors for a year. As crowned Royal Ambassador for Monticello, their goal is to promote community spirit, involvement, and pride.  These three ladies represent and educate others about our great city.  Royal Ambassadors attend 85+ events throughout the year (25+ during their candidacy).  Criteria used to select the new ambassadors each year include:  team player, outgoing, wholesome, compassionate, genuine, respectful and responsible.  Monticello Royal Ambassadors shine from their hearts not just their crowns.  At the end of their reign, Royal Ambassadors are awarded two scholarships, one from the Riverfest Committee and another from the Chamber.  Committee meetings are scheduled as needed.
