ERIKA FISHER, OWNER BLISS SALON
Congratulations to Erika Fisher, owner of Bliss Salon for being recognized for her outstanding efforts in promoting the Monticello Chamber and our events. Erika is our Ambassador Chair and takes great care in coordinating ribbon cuttings and keeping our team informed of the schedule. Thank you for all that you do to make our Chamber a success and lightening our work load in the office.
The Ambassador Committee members are the visible, good-will arm that welcomes new businesses to the Monticello area and helps with the retention of current membership. They serve as a welcoming committee at special functions such as business anniversaries, Grand Openings, Open Houses and host Ribbon Cutting ceremonies for new members.
Ambassadors meet the 4th Tuesday of each month 12-1pm at rotating Chamber Restaurants.

What a difference a year makes. It seems like yesterday we were preparing to engage a new group of young ladies in the Monticello Royal Ambassador Program when everyone’s world was turned upside down and life as we knew it was put on full stop.
Over the past year, we have learned much about the resiliency of our business community and it’s patrons as well as the dedication of our current Royal Ambassadors who faithfully fulfilled their roles when called upon for an additional year.
Today we make the difficult decision to pause our program for the upcoming year as we still face tremendous uncertainty. While the rollback of restrictions has begun there is still no guarantee that our candidates and current Royal Ambassadors will be able to safely perform some or all of their activities and duties that define our program and candidate process and its overall success.
Our program is costly to operate and with the economic struggles our donors and sponsors have endured over the past year, we want to respect that struggle and allow them an opportunity to recover without feeling any obligation to the Monticello Royal Ambassador Program.
THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT! Over the course of the next few months, we will rely on our programs rich history and tradition and call upon our past Royal Ambassadors to help us navigate this upcoming year and use their knowledge and experience to enhance, improve and revitalize the Monticello Royal Ambassador program.
